Nerd night at The Launch

  

We started our month with a "Nerd Night". We had a great turnout. The night began with a tug o war battle between students and leaders. And even though we had a professional bodybuilder on our team, i'm sad:) to say that we lost twice. But students really enjoyed that.

We had a guest speaker join us by the name of Cody Farris. This young man is truly a man of God. His love for this generation inspires me and stretches me beyond measure. He preached a sermon titled "Christianiaty". Students were encouraged and challenged to walk out the title before using the title, in this case "Christian".

The worship did a great job. It's exciting to see students singing there heart out and giving God everything.

New Name Release

New Name Release September 27, 2011

It was a great night at Sunset Chapel. We had the privilege to host Holyzone recording artist A-Flo & Kelly Kelz. They were amazing. We have pictures & videos posted on our page Facebook.com/LaunchMiami. We are excited to see all that God has for us as we begin our new journey.

What will we be called??

Tomorrow we will be unveiling our new ministry name. This is a very exciting time for us as leaders at Sunset Chapel as we begin a journey to revolutionize Miami, FL. Day 2 of "Awakening".

I wanted to share with you something I received from my devo today. My prayers is that you would be encouraged to pursue God. In so doing that, you most remove distractions or barriers that are in your way. God warns us not to get caught up in what this world has to offer that we forget our main focus, which is to pursue Christ and a life that reflects Christ.

Camp "Primal" INSANITY!

We were blessed as a youth group to participate in one of many camps hosted by PenFlorida. This was an amazing experience for our group. I could honestly say that this camp united us as a family and made us stronger believers. Here are some highlights of our students.

So I am looking forward to seeing what God is going to do in and through our students.

H20 Presents "Back 2 Life Summer Tour"

H20 presents "Back 2 Life Summer Tour". It's going to be insane. We are going to party and the name of Jesus Christ will be exalted. It's going down on Wednesday June 29 at 7pm. Hope to see everyone there.

It's been amazing serving as your Youth Pastor. God has been doing some amazing things in the lives of so many of you. Danny Zas and Cj Graham are finally stepping their game up in basketball, so God is good (LOL j/k). But seriously our leaders are amazing and I look forward to seeing what God is going to do with H20 the rest of this year.

We filmed our promo video last night for our upcoming series "Hijack". Be in service as we begin to talk about how the enemy tries to "Hijack" our lives in the areas of Mind, Heart, and Walk, when it comes to living the life God created you to live.

On the end of June we will be launching "Youth United". This will be our outreach night and we also have some amazing guest that will be ministering. Holy Zone family will be with us that night. These are amazing, talented artist that will be presenting God's word in a dynamic deliverance. H20, your not even READY!!

First Night at H20

This video started everything.

What a night. I had the honor and privilege to meet 15 passionate and loving students. They worshiped God and had fun doing it. H20 you are the bomb!!!!

Introduced to Sunset Chapel

This Sunday March 13, 2011, Shayna and I were introduced to Sunset Chapel as the new Youth Pastors. We are excited to be here serving under the leadership of Pastor Russ & Shari Debord. We look forward to seeing lives being impacted for the kingdom.

So this year we will "Go Hard", but in doing so, we will have fun. I'm pumped as Shayna and I begin to plan out the year, H20 get ready for an amazing year! Let's GO!!!!
